60 Years of Excellence
Florida State University has been bringing quality education to students in the isthmus of Panama since 1957.
Join us in celebrating our 60th anniversary.
FSU- Republic of Panama
Florida State University – Republic of Panama is an international branch campus of Florida State University, one of the signature educational institutions of the state of Florida. FSU-Panama has been in Panama since 1957 and we’re the second oldest university in the country. Our academic programs are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
As the crossroad of the world, Panama blends the modern with the traditional: Panama City has a developed urban environment with the commercial centers and the commodities of a larger city. At the same time, it is only a short journey away from primary tropical forests and beautiful beaches from both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
Students from Latin American and Caribbean countries enrolled at FSU-Panama are eligible for our “2+2” scholarship program, which allows them to complete up to 2 years of undergraduate studies at our main campus in Tallahassee while paying in-state tuition.
The FSU panama faculty members hold Doctorates and Master degrees in their area of teaching, and are fully committed to providing the needed support both inside and outside the classroom. Representing at least 10 different countries, they all bring their cultural heritage together with their academic experience, and contribute to the international atmosphere of the campus of FSU Panama.
